Autobiographical Narrative Story
PLEASE OPEN AND VIEW THE POWERPOINT BEFORE YOU BEGIN THIS ASSIGNMENT.

Plan and write a story about an experience in your life. The story must give background about what you were like before, describe the events in chronological order, and say what you learned or what was significant about the experience.

You must hand in prewriting notes on:
-Sequence of events
-Describing words for the places in your story, use sights, sounds, feelings, smells, etc.
-Description of the people involved in your story, especially yourself
-Feelings you had during the experience
-A Controlling Impression: A sentence that summarizes the main idea of your story. What did you learn? How did you change? Etc.

You must complete a rough draft: in class (or at home if you had an excused absence)

You must hand in a good copy
If your draft and your good copy are completely different stories, they will not be accepted.

The story should be approximately 3 pages, more if your hand writing is large, or if you use small paper.

All 3 of these must be handed in to receive a mark.
-Pre writing notes (with stamp)
-Rough Draft (with stamp)
-Final Copy
